Safer Roads.

Stronger Community.

Local Jobs.

By extending Temescal Canyon Road on the east side of I-15 and expanding it to four lanes, this investment will ease congestion, improve safety, shorten commutes, and create local jobs.

All at NO COST to taxpayers.

About The Opportunity

Temescal Together is a community effort that includes the County of Riverside and Caltrans to implement long-planned improvements to Temescal Canyon Road and the I-15 interchange.

These upgrades are part of the already approved Serrano Commerce Center Project, a privately funded development that will extend Temescal Canyon Road on the east side of I-15 and upgrade the existing two lanes to four.

Trucks will be redirected away from the west side of I-15 to avoid residential neighborhoods, improving traffic flow, enhancing safety, reducing wildfire risks, and strengthening our local economy.

How Will The Serrano Commerce Center Help Temescal Valley?

Reduces Traffic

Extending Temescal Canyon Road, expanding it from two lanes to four, and improving the I-15 on- and off-ramps will ease congestion and make travel.

Supports Local Jobs

Over 6,800 jobs will be created, helping residents work closer to home and spend less time commuting.

Improves Safety

Upgrades to the interchange and evacuation routes will enhance access for emergency vehicles, reducing response times during wildfires.

Protects Quality of Life

Relocating heavy truck traffic east of I-15 will reduce noise, dust, and traffic near nearby neighborhoods.

Enhaces the Environment

Adds new open space, trails, and permanent conservation land to protect the Temescal Wash.

Privately Funded

All improvements are privately funded - no new taxes or public spending required.

Dear Riverside County Board of Supervisors,

As a Temescal Valley resident, I’m writing to express my support for the agreements that move forward the road and interchange improvements connected to Temescal Together, an initiative of the Serrano Commerce Center.

These privately funded improvements will:

• Extend Temescal Canyon Road and expand it to four lanes for smoother traffic flow.
• Upgrade the I-15 interchange traffic flow for safer and more efficient travel.
• Improvements to the interchange will enhance emergency vehicle access and support the future fire station.
• Create thousands of local jobs and strengthen our local economy.
• Deliver all of this at no cost to taxpayers.

These upgrades are an important step toward safer roads, reduced congestion, and a stronger Temescal Valley community.
